Global logistics processes based on information systems can only work if all the partners are on the same page and using linked standardised systems. As such, we work through our own EDI centre, using it as a central communications platform for the electronic exchange of data between all our partners, transmitting data sent and received to and from all our connected systems.
We have also developed API software solutions adapted to each client, through standardised interfaces specific to each client, thus permitting quick and easy integration of all the business processes, as well as the exchange of all the important information and data.
One of the tools we use is 360º View – the information system made specially for us and which we also make available to our clients so that they can proceed with:
- Initiating shipments;
- Merchandise labelling;
- Tracking shipments in real time;
- Accessing PODs;
- Accessing invoices – eco-friendly.
All integrated into a single program, from the time a shipment is initiated to invoicing. We plan collections, we manage warehouses and we use PDAs to monitor the different phases of the process. We go even further with our labelling guarantee (and integration with the domestic and international distribution system).
This program is automated with our international agents, commercial team and customer service. Communications and information updates are therefore a constant.
This tool makes it possible for us to keep all the documentation in one place, storing the history, the information and the security of the process. It also allows us to check bookings and avoid the unnecessary use of paper – thus contributing to preserving the environment.
